Our 4th graders had a great time at Farm City! Farm City Day is an educational field trip for all of Shasta Counties fourth grade students. The event is organized by the Shasta County Farm Bureau. For the 2024 event over 300 students and 18 teachers watched 20 minute presentations on these topics: Wildlife, irrigation, cow milking, roping Rangeland Management and more. These presentations were provided by volunteers from the community who donate their time to share about the importance of agriculture in Shasta County.
